Terms of Service

The basic rules for using creditespresso.com. What we offer, what we don't, and how we work together.

Last updated May 6, 2026

Welcome to creditespresso.com. By using this site you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English so you can actually understand them.

What we offer

Creditespresso is an editorial site and a recommendation tool. We publish guides on credit cards, family finances, and related topics for US Latino families. The tool suggests cards based on the answers you give us.

What we are NOT

  • We're not a bank, card issuer, or registered financial advisor.
  • We don't offer personalized, professional, or legal financial advice.
  • Recommendations are educational. Your specific situation may require consulting an actual advisor.

Credit card information

We verify card information against the official issuer sites before publishing. Even so, terms change. Before applying to any card, confirm the current terms on the issuer's site. Fees, rates, and benefits mentioned may change.

Affiliate relationships

We receive commission from some issuers when you apply and get approved through links on the site. This does not affect our recommendations; we recommend based on fit with your situation, not on who pays the most.

Your account

In version 1 of the site, there are no user accounts. If you subscribe to the newsletter, you're responsible for keeping your email up to date and unsubscribing if you no longer want it.

Acceptable conduct

Don't use the site to:

  • Post or transmit illegal or harmful content.
  • Impersonate someone else.
  • Interfere with the site's operation (abusive scraping, attacks, etc.).
  • Collect other users' information without permission.

Intellectual property

The editorial content, illustrations, and creditespresso brand are ours (or the authors who sign their work). You may quote short excerpts with attribution; to use more, write us.

Limitation of liability

We make the site carefully, but we provide it "as is." We're not responsible for financial decisions you make based on our content. Verify current terms with the issuer before applying to a card.

AI assistance disclosure

Last updated May 5, 2026.

We use AI tools — including Claude and ChatGPT — to assist with research and to draft articles. The Credit Espresso editorial team rewrites substantially before publishing, and every number, rate, and term gets verified against primary sources before it reaches you. AI never invents fees, rates, rewards, or personalized recommendations on this site.

We disclose this because you have a right to know how what you're reading was produced and because our brand is built on trust. We don't publish content generated purely by AI and posted without human editing. Every article has a human editor responsible for accuracy and voice, and that's non-negotiable in a category where the wrong number costs someone real money.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If anything material changes, we announce it on the site. Continued use of the site implies acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state where the operating LLC is registered. Any disputes are resolved there.
